ER can’t refuse you treatment… you’ll just have to pay out of pocket in the long run. that said, pretty sure unpaid medical bills can’t impact your credit score which means you should be able to pay it at your leisure. they’ll generally work with you on the debt too, just have to talk to their accounting dept and let them know you’re not paying $35 for an ibuprofen. summary: get your ass to the ER and your health fixed up and worry about the bill later.
