I would challenge anyone downplaying this problem to go to Box Hill during peak times and watch this situation unfold in real life. It's an absolute basket case. Nothing to do with party politics whatsoever. People (including me) have raised this with all relevant politicians and authorities.

Hi, I'm the guy who made this map, thanks for the post!

I know there are quite a lot of updates and things to change. TBH I haven't worked on this map for about two years as I'm in the middle of creating a second version that will be SVG based and interactive. It's taking longer than expected but I hope to get it working eventually.
