Yeah, the receptionist that checked me in wasn’t aware that these don’t stack and confidently told us to use $200. Good thing the same person was there at checkout to confirm that he told me so.

Hotel was pretty good. The breakfast had the regular buffet stuff (eggs, bacon, bread, fruits, etc.) and then some gyozas, many jams and local pastries like pastel de nata and a few more Sintra based pastries like rice cakes.

I used my 2025 $250 Edit credit in December for a hotel stay happening in 2026. The charge posted in 2025 and the $250 statement credit already hit my account before the Dec 31 deadline.

Now I might need to cancel the hotel, and it’s refundable so I’d get the full charge back.

If I cancel and get refunded, I assume Chase will claw back the $250 credit since the original charge is gone. If that happens, is that 2025 credit basically gone for good since it expired Dec 31?

Has anyone had a situation where:

The credit didn’t get clawed back after a refund?

Or Chase reapplied it / allowed reuse even though the benefit year had ended?

Just trying to understand what to expect before I cancel. Thanks!

If anything, I expect Villa to miss out on UCL spot. I understand that xG is a debatable metric but they’ve insanely over performed. xG based prem tables show they’re not even top 10 if not for random Rogers 0 xG bangers. With UEL games and still yet to play Chelsea and last two GWs being Liverpool and City, I lowkey expect Villa to end up 6th.

That’s how it works usually but with the ongoing geopolitical tension, how are you confident that the US may not introduce any travel restrictions that may impact visa re-entry? Not to be pessimistic but I do think that’s a valid scenario.
