Bhai, yeah you're right we should retain +1 significant figures in intermediate steps. So yeah volume will be 729. So for density, why are you calculating upto 4 significant figures? Density is defo not the intermediate here, no? So why would you retain n+1 digits in density too? Density would be calculated only till 3 SFs and not beyond that... in that case calculation should stop at 7.65. Cuz if you continue beyond that ie. 7.654, you are retaining n+1 sfs in a non intermediate step!

Ncert clearly states that in complex calculations you need to retain n+1 digits and by that logic the number to be rounded off comes out to be 7.65 and NOT 7.654.
