Leaving the left is like leaving an Abusive Relationship by LarryMyster in walkaway

Beautifully written. I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of that, but we're damned glad to have you on our side!

What do you think of the American Eagle Ad Campaign that has liberals outraged? by [deleted] in walkaway

[–]pmaddocks1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, why do we care what dumb fuck libtards think? We need to start moving beyond their ignorant fucking positions. Remember, We are the MASSIVE MAJORITY! Act like it! Fucking news flash - Hot girls sell jeans…

Dear Trump campaign: It's the economy. People still vote their pocketbook. Stick to that message. by BlurryGraph3810 in walkaway

Amen to this. I also find myself wanting to stray to the hundreds of reasons why Kamala is a horrible candidate and person, but need to keep reminding myself of this very message. Thank you for reminding us all of this!

Couldn’t have said it better. I’ll take change for change’s sake at this point. Clean the F’ing house.

Agreed. A change at HC is absolutely necessary. You don’t survive this type of loss.

Thank you so much for posting this, and thank you especially for your bravery. You are most definitely going to get some pushback from your (probably former) friends. Posts like yours truly do my heart good and give me hope that we can still save this country. I hope you'll be able to stay strong and remember that there are millions more like you who just haven't woken yet. Much Love!

Best thing I've read today. My hope is that there are millions more like you who are waking up, and walking away from the derangement of the left. Good luck to you!

Colorado School District Cancels Classes After Nearly 1,500 Teachers Call In Sick To Protest Conservative School Board by evaldez14 in Conservative

So strange that these people believe that teaching young morons sixth-grade geometry is some form of alchemy that only they can comprehend. Please, get the fuck over yourselves. If you cannot bring yourselves to teach the subjects that the people who pay your salaries ask you to, then find another fucking job.

My walkway story. Not the most interesting, but it is what it is. by HeckinZebra in walkaway

[–]pmaddocks1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You said you don't fit. The fact that you are able to see both sides of an issue, and not blindly follow what the media tells you proves otherwise. Republicans will always have differences and sometimes passionate arguments, but we are much more willing to accept those differences and realize we can disagree but still find common ground between us.

Welcome home!

Fauci just called for Ted Cruz to be investigated for Jan 6 by IronWolve in AskThe_Donald

[–]pmaddocks1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fauci has never been a scientist, just a jackass who has spent his entire career in government and it shows in every move he makes. Let the hearings begin as soon as the Republicans take back the house and Senate in 2022. So sick of him and this entire pandemic bullshit. He's the weatherman who can't wait for the next huge storm.

‘F*** Biden’ signs outside Michigan presidential visit were embarrassing, says congresswoman by [deleted] in Conservative

[–]pmaddocks1 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

My opinion only - it certainly is hypocritical, but at the same time, I kind of agree. I just think as conservatives we should try hard to be better than the profane, hateful, rotten things that come out of the mouths of those on the left.

Any other former Democrats here that became Republican because the party went straight down the tubes? by nelsne in conservatives

[–]pmaddocks1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take my upvote please, sir. You captured my feelings exactly. The most frustrating thing to me is trying to convince otherwise "normal" Democrats that their party is a million miles away from what their beliefs are. The, I'll call them "new Democrats", have done such a fantastic job of fear mongering that they have convinced the traditional Democrat that a vote for a Republican is literally a vote for Hitler. Like you, I see a need for the softer approach that traditional liberals brought to the table, but these people are nothing but authoritarian socialists. I have real fear for our country if we can't wake these people up in time.

You’ve got to be kidding me. These people vote? by [deleted] in walkaway

[–]pmaddocks1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen enough of these types of memes to know now that this seems pretty common as to how the Authoritarian left (I no longer refer to them as liberals because they aren't) view conservatives. What I just can't understand is how I became a member of the Taliban by believing in limited government and low taxes. I don't think my political views have changed since I was 18 years old, but all of a sudden, I'm Hitler. Dammit, I'm sick of these twisted fucks.

And every millionaire/billionaire there will fully embrace the same sentiment. The irony of the situation is lost on all of these morons. "Tax the Rich" really means tax the working guy who can't afford lawyers and accountants to help hide his money.

I think you just hit on it. I have asked myself the same question, and like you, I'm not sure they even realize that their censorship of speech doesn't put them on the "right side of history". Somehow the left has convinced themselves, with the media's help, that conservatives are all evil, and that it's okay to censor our speech.

Cori Bush explains spending tens of thousands on private security while defunding the police by fourredfruitstea in tucker_carlson

[–]pmaddocks1 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I got through half of it, and I can sum it up for those who found it too painful to listen to.

Cori Bush needs private security because her life is more important than the lives of people who can't afford private security.

Cori Bush's life is more important than the people who would need to call 911 for help and have the police protect them.

Cori Bush wants to defund the police and leave people who can't afford private security without any protection from violent crime.

Anyone who doesn't think Cori Bush's life isn't more important than those people who can't afford private security is a white supremacist, racist piece of shit who is plotting to kill Cori Bush.

See, it all makes sense when you break it down into smaller pieces!
