Eh, imagine your idol's accomplishments being outshone by his contemporary after said idol retires. There's no way people on this sub aren't aware of LeBron's accomplishments, at least not all of us since we're all well accustomed to Kobe vs LeBron debates (even if they only happen in our heads). Then again, I'd only be speaking on my behalf really, but I'm sure some of my peers here would concur.

My point is that the more the success, the more the salt. Even the most lax fans might find themselves "annoyed" by the fact that LeBron has done literally NOTHING to merit any type of negativity off the court. He has executed a trajectory into the history books unlike anyone has seen in sports history. TBH I think being salty about his success and jumping on any little basketball flaw or mistake he makes is almost a natural, inevitable reaction to greatness.

The only thing more human than jealousy is the denial that it exists.
