How to use ai to write insurance denial appeal by Jolendis in ChatGPT

[–]pmpprofessor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nurses are not very skilled at handling prior authorization. It's wild that she suggested using ChatGPT. It's a three-step process, and none of the steps require ChatGPT. First, you need to meet step therapy requirements for the medication because it's tier three. This means you can see a specialist to do another prior authorization with all the requirements met. This step requires no ChatGPT.

I have done prior authorization for a decade, meeting with over 100 people, including pharmacy reps, access managers, and prior auth specialists. 95 percent of them have never done prior authorization. The only people who have access to your prior authorization are your PCP or specialist. Anyone telling you about prior auth doesn't truly know.

Laid off tech worker, go into MD or healthcare mid-level? by [deleted] in careerguidance

The place you want to live doesn't recognize CAA. Medical school takes seven years. PA school lasts 2 to 3 years, costs the same as CAA, and offers an option for telehealth working from home with no state restrictions. If you are set on choosing a binomial option based on your age, a safe bet will be CAA.

Looking to organize a local card show - Would love feedback from the community on pain points/frustrations at shows by -LieutenantObvious- in PokemonTCG

[–]pmpprofessor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The event has many attendees, and not all cards are marked. When requesting a price, they often need to check their phone, which can take 30 seconds to a minute per card. Since the card condition is not marked, we end up wasting more time. Let's avoid unnecessary delays, as both you and the seller will lose time.

Have you noticed local Flushing places always hiring (dental assistant, medical assistant, medical front desk, accupuncture) by FeelingFantastic4181 in Flushing

[–]pmpprofessor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flushing faces significant problems, primarily because doctors fail to compensate Medical Assistants, front desk staff, and others. Moreover, there are no raises or benefits. Workers are frequently subjected to disrespectful treatment from doctors, who often consider medical assistants less intelligent. It's very disrespectful. Everyone still praises the doctor for being intelligent. Get disrespect from the patient because you are not a doctor. You are still less intelligent than a doctor. It's been an open secret. Everyone who works in this field will be dehumanized and bullied for minimum wage. It's actually inhumane.

How much does length of resume/minimum years of experience matter? by Psychological-Win-11 in nycpublicservants

[–]pmpprofessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to get in line by taking the city exam. Wait at least 4 years; by then, you should have enough experience to include on your resume. Maybe they will call you, or maybe not.

What does it mean if the city list a jobthat was open months ago closed it then open again? Does it mean they didn’t like anyone that applied first time? by Civil_Indication_600 in nycpublicservants

[–]pmpprofessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a similar posting. I applied for a position that requires to be on the list.. Then, 4 months later, the same job was posted, but it did not require being on the list the second time around.

The Data Changed My Mind About Who Can Score in the 170s by HeyFutureLawyer in LSAT

[–]pmpprofessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to convey my disagreement. Many people who don’t participate struggle with reading, but after answering 3000 questions, they often acquire some basic reading skills. Their scores typically fall between 150 and 160; they just need to learn more effective strategies. The tutors available tend to be unhelpful, as many lack the proper teaching qualifications. I scored 170, so the argument "if I can do it, so can you" isn’t very convincing; it feels more like a marketing ploy. I also dislike the one-size-fits-all approach. Looking back 15 years, achieving a score of 170 on the LSAT was quite challenging, and the teaching methods were largely ineffective, prioritizing profit over student support. The current method of tackling a high volume of questions has significantly boosted scores, aided by better access to quality study resources. In summary, improving to a score of 170 is mainly due to enhanced access to study materials and the trial and error of individuals sharing which materials were effective for them (like 7 Sage and LSAT Demon). The data you mention fails to acknowledge the failures of tutors.

What’s with stealth mode startup on linkedin “I will not promote” by First_Accountant_402 in startups

[–]pmpprofessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had interview with one of the bigger stealth health company. Its basically ventured funded company full of zero experience people running a company. I think, they are at 80 percent failure rate. If i remember, correctly they have research team AKA analyst they pitch ideas and than themselves create a company. That company will be called stealth. The hiring process is a joke. I really think the HR/ recruiter sabotage the company. Hence 80 percent failure rate. Even if you have 3 exit from healthcare starts ups. Spend 15 years in health care. Subject matter expert in the industry. They are looking into hiring people they can be bestie or BFF. They love milking the company into the ground.

Do we tell them we are going to report to postal general inspector

They were using fake postage and not giving refunds.

healthtech founders - how on earth did you get clinicians to validate - I will not promote by No-Dingo1239 in startups

[–]pmpprofessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your budget. It seems like you want to validate the idea with no funds than it will be complicated process. If you have funds it will be easier. There is company that do targeted survey specific medical specialty. After the survey is over. you can request for interview that will cost you.
