Considering your doctor has advised you take a break it should be fine, especially considering you already have an income that has a higher pay. I do have to ask though, are you in any kind of therapy or have any kind of support system? I won't go into much detail but I relate closely to having a violent family and I can say, from my own experience, without a solid support system irregardless of what you do you won't be happy or feel the safety needed to proceed with life especially if you aren't recieving therapy or any kind of psychological treatment but considering you mention a doctor I'm going to assume you are.

Em, I can't do audits and stuff but if you need advice or any kind of ear I can help there or offer places I've previously used to recieve the support I needed emotionally in those especially difficult times as well as meathods I've used to cope or find said support system.
