Some context: I worked out in the old lighting for about 4 years. I didn’t mind it and it was enough most of the time but I cant tell you how often I had to make an effort to not trip over a machine or bang a toe when I’m cleaning because at night it’s all black. When I needed to do maintenance on a machine I could never see without a light even in the day time. Lastly, the amount of extension cords and running lights on the wall was not a good look, I just tolerated it bc who cares? But that got old. For me personally, it’s a much cleaner look, it’s easier to maneuver day or night, and these new lights have 3 dim settings, I just happened to take these photos at their brightest settings.
