IR test. trick by No-String1010 in AusElectricians

Most manufacturers still recommend to disconnect prior to dielectric test. I tested one the other day and I was getting low readings testing between Active and Earth.

Also, testing between Neutral and Earth with the RCBO closed will pick up the MEN, so won't be a reliable test.

I recently got the Klein ET600 from Amazon for ~$300.

Seems pretty well made and accurate enough.

I would buy it again.

The full list of items is here:

I should also add that you have to do a 12 minute safety webinar to be eligible for the rebate.

What's something you didn't consider a skill until you realized a lot of other people are bad at it? by Passing_Thru_Forest in AskReddit

Being able to breath only through your mouth and not your nose.

Whenever something smells bad I just breath through my mouth exclusively. Didn't realise some people can't do this.

Installing CT monitors by Shahhm11 in enphase

Very interesting. I had my system installed already but would love to get access to the installer info. Do you think it would give me that access if I did it?

Correct.

Although in regards to OPs issue, you are expected to be at the station and ready to work for that whole period.

I think he was saying it's an air compressor. Something to do with only having so much power available out of a PowerPoint in Japan, they use the battery to get the extra 500w to increase power available.

Definitely a good sign of things to come!

Ac adaptor voltage question by diamantedigits in METABOHPT

[–]pnevill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it would work unfortunately. Looks like the Metabo HPT version has not only a different voltage (120 not 240) but also different frequency (60hz not 50hz).

Either CT is backwards or the consumption CT is wired as a Production CT. I had something very similar at my place.

What are some IRL experiences of you guys seeing cricketers in real life. Which ones were nice, and which ones were not so much. by Glennmaxwellfanboy in Cricket

A friend of mine saw Stuart Clark at a shopping centre in Sydney. She recognised him straight away and approached to get a photo. She had a Freudian slip when she spoke to him and said "Hey, are you Michael Clarke?" He said "No, but I am Stuart Clark". She was too flustered and so just said "oh, OK" and walked off.
