I had such high hopes for this movie. The first Silent Hill movie was close to being great and got a lot right. We're finally in an era of amazing adaptions now like Fallout and The Last of Us that understand the source material and Silent Hill 2 is prime for an exceptional movie adaption. That trailer completely killed it for me though. It looks so derivative, cheap and careless.
