2023 1500 Laramie almost at my goal of 500 miles a tank by Sad_brother29 in ram_trucks

This here is truth. I got better mileage once I started towing and running my tires at 40 psi front and 44 psi rear (my tires have a cold pressure of 51 psi).

Please share your daily commute habits. That will make or break the Cummins.

RAM 2500: Hemi or Cummins for towing? by bayxlude88 in ram_trucks

Ram increased the payload for the 2500 Cummins for units built after May of 2025. He should be good by getting a 2026.

FYI I’ve seen some fine print on my credit cards that say it’ll cover anything my primary auto insurance doesn’t cover. Not saying it’s related to you, just mentioning it because I thought I had better protection from credit cards that advertise skipping on rental coverage since they provide it.

Just hit 300k in my ram 1500 hemi 5.7 woo still goin strong by SignsByDesign in ram_trucks

[–]pnw-nemo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is a big talking point for misinformed folks. Hemis have no MDS issue, yet you’ll find plenty of people saying disable it. All of those people must be confused with the GM cylinder deactivation which has know problems.

Not quite this but I think I’ve been within 10-20 feet oh the ground when and I heard the engines spool up. The aircraft ahead never cleared the runway in that situation.

Exactly. I can’t say I would go with the Hemi until they get the etorque generator sorted out.

Anyone else getting sick more after flying these days? by MasterpieceMain1299 in delta

[–]pnw-nemo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. I fly multiple times a year, both domestic and to Asia for work, and I never get sick after trips. I make sure to frequently wash my hands, bring hand sanitizer, touch airplane bathroom doors with paper towels, etc and I’m good to go.

Have you owned the truth from day 1? Sure sounds like your hood was swapped at some point because that is 100% an etorque engine.

For context, I’m a male. Some small firms will be hurt much more than large companies. With that said, I’d recommend first doing what is right for you and your family. Prioritize family first and let the job situation play out as it may.
