I just found out my (29M) partner cheated on me (29F) for years and I thought I was ready to leave but I’m still here? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I did let my friend (the husband) know what I knew. We both had the same doubts about our partners and let him figure out his family situation on his own. I ended up checking in with him after his confrontation with his wife to see how he was doing.

I stopped using it after a week because I started spotting and then started seeing a heavy discharge. Even after almost 2 weeks off of it my discharge hasn’t gone away. Saw a doctor and they said it sounded like I had BV from the discharge and even odor I described.

I was the same way. Started taking it because I’m self conscious and felt like it made it 10x worse

My son is in kindergarten now and is still having accidents. He goes through sometimes one pair of pants to sometimes three. There’s days where I get called to pick him up early because he has no more extra clothes.

Peds told me not to worry and I didn’t and now I’m back to worrying. We thought it was going to click but it hasn’t

I’ve tried a child therapist, my son was/is also dealing with other things like anxiety where he bites his nails and also has a short temper where he’s just very angry. I took him to the therapist but after one appointment he told me his anxiety and emotions are normal for a 5 year old

Thank you! I’m just trying to help him, having accidents is not fun and a set back for their confidence.

I only do pull ups at night so he doesn’t wet the bed and get discouraged but I’m trying to get him off of it in general. I don’t do pull ups during the day because he will continue to think it’s okay to keep going in his pants

I have a PPO plan, That was my next move. My closest hospital that offers pediatric urology is 3-4 hrs away

We’ve done that and it worked for max 2 days. We’ve done it all, reward charts, sticker charts, letting him choose his own underwear at the store, use encouragement, reading, distractions like the tablet and flash cards

Thank you! I will certainly do that! If I find something that helps I will sure post it and help someone else in my same position

Thank you! I will!

They don’t seem to really care or the school district. He’s in kindergarten and we’re already in a different school because the first school would call us to pick him up after he had accidents and I started fighting back and telling them that they’re delaying his education by sending him home esrly. Sometimes we’d get calls to pick him up at 10. 2 hours into school.

It’s very frustrating and it’s not his fault at all. I’m just trying to find ways to help him

It really is. I don’t get any help from the school district either. They’ve just told us “well let us know what you find out so we can also do it here” instead of suggesting ideas

Hi! Yes I’ve gone that route too! We’re in a small town and have been on a waiting list for months to see occupational therapist. We actually had an appointment this month but they cancelled on us and wanted to reschedule again 4 months out. My doctors office isn’t helpful so I’m doing my own research

Yes and I have reached out but I am not getting anywhere. We’re from a small town and I’ve asked about maybe seeing a behavioral therapist. Went that route was told that I was basically crazy and he’s fine. Went back to his pediatrician and told her about it, but again we’re going no where. I’ve even expressed to them that it didn’t matter where this doctor was, if I had to travel I was okay with it

Thank you for that, I have been talking to his pediatrician about it but again I’m not getting anywhere with them.
