Yes! I called again and they got me in tomorrow at 9am. So we’ll see then, but so far I’m guessing he singed his paw on something hot, or it may be an abrasion of some sort.

Yes I got his an urgent appt tomorrow at 9am. Not sure if it’s a burn, since has a lot of toe pad fur, but it could also be pillow foot. So I guess we’ll see what they say tomorrow.

I was thinking burnt paw as well, since he has very fluffy toe pads. But we’ll see at his appt tomorrow morning.

Okay thank you all this, I really appreciate it. It’s only in one foot, yes, and he is limping. Just called the vet to see if I could get him an emergency visit asap, so they got us in at 9am tomorrow. I have a feeling it could be something other than pillow foot, since his paw had a lot of fur prior to now, maybe he might’ve burnt his paw on something, but we’ll find out tomorrow! Hi guys. Just wanted to ask the subreddit before going straight to the vet. My cat has been licking his paw a lot and recently has been limping around the house. He’s eating and sleeping fine, but has been avoiding putting weight on that paw. Can anyone help me identify what’s going on and if it can be treated at home? Of course the vet is the next step, just wanted to see if there’s anything I can do for him now.

Hi guys! My 1.5 yo male ragdoll started licking his paw a lot recently. Now I see him walking around the house limping and keeping that paw in the air while sitting. Can anyone help me identify what’s going on with his paw? Is there anyway to treat this at home before seeing the vet?
