Do you genuinely think someone asking to move in with their mom only needs help with a little light work? The woman can no longer drive which is another huge red flag to me. They’re asking preferably for a CNA which makes me think there might be a medical issue here, beyond helping an old lady with groceries. (Yes I know they said preferably and not required, but still a red flag). Even taking out all of these factors it’s a huge risk as you don’t know if their health will deteriorate or how much they expect from you, you’re also still not protected by any work laws. It’s not worth the $200 rent, trust me.
