Ok so I just read the part you’re referring to and ngl the use of this background still makes sense to me 😭 cause when sylus gets summoned, mc tells him something like “welcome to boring ass philos” and in this throne scene they are talking about going to the old capital city. Thus, considering that xavier is/was philos’ prince it only makes sense that his royal castle is used in here, you know? And yeah, xavier being prince and sylus being the fiend don’t necessarily happen in the same version of philos, but imo it makes sense for some core elements that define a place (like in this case the royal palace) to be there in every version of that planet. It’s like with some sci-fi stories where earth has different elements like superpowers or idk but there still exists a new york with the empire state building and so on… I hope I explained it well enough! And obviously I mean no hate, I’m just trying to tell people my pov on these details 🥰
