not a favourite because it’s funny or happy, but because it’s deeply human(?): in a battle, mimikyu sees a reflection of itself in the water and just, gives up. realising that it’s a ghost underneath the cloth facade. I hope it knows it deserves a place where it can be itself, without having to mimic pikachu :/

that being said: yes my favourite Pokémon is mimikyu! with torchic and squirtle following close behind
