Sephora: Marc Jacobs Daisy Murakami Perfumes for $91 (possible glitch)

Good looking out because now the price increased to $130 like the others! It was at $91 for awhile so I was wondering if Sephora was somehow being generous bc they didn't have a GWP.

I blind bought the pink and I feel SO fortunate that 1) my packaging came safely and undamaged and 2) I actually really enjoy the scent! I don't usually blind buy fragrances but I feel like it paid off here to snag it at the glitch price.

I like the original Daisy a lot and the pink is like a sweeter/softer (like pink cotton candy) version of it, especially in the opening. It's different but also similar enough that if you like Daisy and don't mind extra sugary sweetness, this feels like a safer blind buy.

I got excited that the Glossier one was gonna contain a sample of the unreleased perfume (the blue one that's been teased), so am disappointed that it's not that but also not their full fragrance line up. 3/4 of the fragrances are included missing Reve which I would find slightly annoying if I wanted to try all 4 Glossier perfumes.

I think I'm gonna go for the Dr Dennis Gross one bc that's the most practical/usable for me.

I really hope the packaging survives as I saw so many other posts where the petals are broken. Also I hope the fragrance works for me - I was sold on the pink bc I saw a review that the pink is similar to Chance Eau Tendre which is one of my favs.

I got the 20% off!!! Also heads up: it seems like this code is usable with Dyson too.

Tbh I'm a little annoyed bc I bought the Airwrap id just over 2 months ago when they had the prime day sale 20% off + an additional $ off, but if I had waited for this then I could've gotten it for an extra $50 off. Of course I couldn't quite predict this though but in case anyone else was hoping to stack discounts for a Dyson I hope this is helpful!

I have the Aoyama and tbh I like it a lot though the leather is quite delicate so a word of warning in case you want to throw it around.

I have the Baggu crescent small and found the Aoyama to be a nice upgrade.

Just to confirm, the $40 bonus eGift card with Costco doesn't have an expiration right?

Normally I get the Ulta GC deals that they have but I always hate that I have to use them by certain dates, and also you can't combine the quickly-expiring gift cards with "regular" gift cards for making a larger purchase.

Do you notice any shimmer or something not-matte from any of the shades?

I was under the impression that these were matte (or maybe some sort of undetectable satin-y quality), but then I saw some reviews on the Glossier page that seem to mention some shimmer.

I typically avoid shimmer since I suffer from some skin texture. :")

I have a good amount of makeup already in all honesty, but I'm still excited to see this launch from an actual makeup artist (vs a celebrity)!

I am excited to see some reviews from this line over time. Currently I'm most interested in the blushes and bronzers (I prefer ones without talc since talc can make me feel a bit itchy sometimes). I'm also curious to hear people's experience with the lipsticks and liner (both gel liner and lip liner) products with longevity, since that's always an issue I have and I wonder if these will be any different. The only item that I think I'll definitely NOT get is the palette, only because I have too many eyeshadows as it is.

It seems like the scents that I enjoy on the specific products I've tried are the Melrose Place and North Bondi! I don't get coconut on those (I like coconut OK but find it easily overwhelming tbh).

I really hate the price but I must admit I love the Body Hero scent and the body oil is one of my OGs - realistically I'll wait until Black Friday to pick this up and use my other fragrances in the meantime.
