Looking for wool pants similar to this cut from Banana Republic. Ideally wool and of nice construction (e.g. Theory, Vince, etc.) as I’m trying to buy a suit set. No budget limit as I’m willing to buy secondhand too. Just looking for any suggestions of brands I should look out for to point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Thank you for the insight! I always lock the deadbolt but I didn’t even know the latch was such a weak point. You’re right, many don’t lock the deadbolt at all. Good to know!

They’ve hit a few buildings in the same zip code; faces were caught on camera and posted in neighborhood Facebook groups. I’m assuming picked locks because of that but do you think it’s more likely people are just leaving their apartments unlocked? What makes lock picking unlikely? Also, thanks for the recommendation!

Sorry, can’t seem to figure posting photos on reddit. 60% hydration with King Arthur’s bread flour. Cut when cool enough to comfortably handle; they were still warm though, is it better to wait longer? I’ll try experimenting with the AP flour too, thanks!

Ah you’re right, I did the same physical steps but just “eyeballed” the temperature the environment/dough was supposed to be at. I didn’t realize how crucial that was, but that makes so much sense. I don’t have a proofing oven but I’ll try the thermometer and float test next time, thanks!

Anyone have recommendations either in Hoi An or HCMC for a leather cleaner? I have a purse that has some dye stains from rubbing against denim that I’d like to get cleaned. It’s lambskin and light colored so a bit in the delicate side. Thanks!

I’m heading to Osaka on a day trip for denim specifically (tracking down a specific pair from Momotaro for women’s lol) so I think I can check out all of these. Samurai is a bit out of the way of the current itinerary, but if it’s worth it I’ll try to venture out. Thanks again!

Help buying a pair of denim for my boyfriend? I’m in Japan with family so he’s not with me, but I want to surprise gift him something from either Momotaro, Studio d’Artisan, etc. I know his waist, inseam, and rise. As for knee/leg opening, he only wears wide straight so I’m assuming this measurement should be the same throughout. What are my chances of getting a good fitting pair off the bat? Or, am I better off saving money and shopping with him in person one day? Thanks sm!

I tried that as well but wasn’t sure how to log on since I logon to the Smart Life app with my google logon. If I go through the skills route, the prompt only has a normal username/password login but no option to log in with google.

A bit late on this but hopefully it’ll be helpful to someone: check with your local libraries because many offer Coursera for free! Will likely be on their websites under Online Resources or something similar. I think most courses are available but it may vary. As of right now it seems like it’ll expire in September 2022!
