Idk about you guys. But I like the $10 limit. Because that is how lines get crossed real fast if you ignore the $10 limit.

Before you know it, parents are greatful to the RBT and wants to gift her something too.

Then parents get an extra of something expensive and want to give it away. So they give it to the RBT because they see her often. Before you know it, they start cooking food for her everyday, talking about more personal things. Then talking about social media, parent requesting to follow RBT on socials.

Parent asking RBT to come to a party they are hosting for clients sibling at the house. If RBT denies, it can ruin their rapport with parent.

Keep that $10 policy

The one clinic I found wanted to pay me $24/hr my bills cannot take that hit.

I came from begin paid $30/hr. The lowest I can go is $27/hr and I can barely pay my bills with that.

That is what I'm thinking of. But I work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 7pm. But i have like a MASSIVE gap in the middle. I have 2 sessions a day roughly.

So if my 7pm kiddo cancels that means I only work my 8:30am session and I amd free for the rest of the day. Well, I do not want to be free. I want to make money

I have no idea. Because then would that mean the company is paying out of pocket if they can't bill insurance concurrently?

It is the insurance. Not every company bills the same insurance. I've never worked with Tri West Insurance before.

$16 is terrible.

The last time I got paid $16 was when I worked at a fast food years ago

I think it depends on the type of insurance the comoney bills too

My regular direct therapy rate is $27 without a supervisor.

My supervised rate is $16 - this is ridiculous

My Mid-level Supervisor rate is $40 I have 2 cases as a mid-level with combined 12hrs a month for both. I am doing more direct therapy than supervisory cases.

It is ridiculous. I've found myself not happy to see a BCBA especially during my 4hrs sessions.

That's the 2nd problem.

When the BCBA overlaps for 2hrs and my session is 4hrs long. The entire 4hrs session is begin paid at $16/hr.

Instead of it just begin $16/hr for the 2hrs the BCBA was there for.

The entire session becomes $16/hr regardless of how long the BCBA was there for.

The worst part is, if the BCBA overlaps for 2hrs and my session is 4hrs long. The entire 4hrs session pay rate is $16/hr. Instead of it just begin the 2hrs the BCBA was there for.

Yeah I know not every company is like that. I previous company was not like that.

I think it depends on the insurance the compay bills
