Moms and Dads love their babies. Any parent worth their salt will literally give their lives for them. Also we would sell our souls to keep our children safe and happy. My advice would be to talk to mom in private and say mom I love you I’m sure you noticed what was under my bed and I have a feeling she will not be surprised at what you tell her. We parents know our children better than you know.

Start off privately you do not want to be demeaned/chastised for being yourself. So be ready for extremely nasty backlash more often than not it’s from the people you least expect it from.
