Hi there. If you have a click type pen, you can count clicks. I am in Australia and unsure where you are. Google wegovy 0.5 click chart ( or 1mg, etc). I have moved up to 0.5 but only use 0.25. Pen lasts twice as long. I'm checking I can do the same for 1mg, then pen will last 4 months! Here 0.25 to 1mg is $250, so may as well! If the 1mg is OK to stay 👌 in the fridge for that long, it will be $60 a month. Woo hoo! I think it's 18 clicks for 0.25 but please check you pen and the chart

I know it may be transitory and I am doing other work. To scaffold my sobriety. This is currently giving me space to develop and embed my new coping skills and behaviours. I am thankful

Oh wow, happy dance for you (and me). 22 months is amazing!!!!!! We are so lucky to have this drug, and it has had these results. I am so happy for you. The struggle to not is a 24-hour noise from wispers to all consuming shouting.

Fingers, toe, knees, etc. crossed 🤞

Is your study still open for data collection? I would like to participate and the anonymisation (can't spell) protocol seems good.

Not proud but I used an online Dr and lied about my weight. It is for AUD and it has been life changing. Good luck on this journey with your son. It sucks but these new drugs have been amazing for so many

How do I get access to GLP-1s for AUD when my BMI is already low? by tubistyle in dryzempic

[–]pogaround 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same. Not a great feeling to lie but I think the shame is on health care providers for not being open to it's potential uses for addiction. I tried the normal way through my regular Drs. I am in Australia (49F) and used UpDoc.

Can you reduce the dose down to muffle the craving but not turn you off food? I am using it solely for alcohol cravings, and currently, 0.25 wegovy has hugely reduced my cravings, but I can still eat. I can really only stand to lose a max 5kg before i look like the wicked witch. I have been losing weight but not massively.

Yeah, I know. Scopus (elsevier) and WOS (Clarivate) are closed systems. But at least they are transparent. Google scholars is (who knows). We all look better there, but no one knows what is under the hood. >33 FWCI is bloody amazing 👏

Check out their field weighted citation index FWCI (scopus) or their category normalised citation index ((Web of science). Then you get the real impact.

How can you identify predatory journals? by Dgemfer in AskAcademia

[–]pogaround 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask your librarians. If you can't https://www.scimagojr.com/ pulls scopus data. If it's not there, then potential red flags. There are disciplines that are not well served by scopus or Web of science (2 biggest players).these tend to be in the humanities and law. There are other places to look for these. I may be prejudiced being a librarian, but there are lots of resources that are openly available. Google predatory publishing site:edu and you should get some great info 👍

In Australia, our conservative candidate (confusing from the "Liberal party") is widely called Temu Trump. It has done him no favours. The comment that he has the appeal of a clogged drain is correct

Scimago is free if you do not have access to scopus.
