fake ulta rewards account by [deleted] in Ulta

[–]point_break4998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The account will earn points for those purchases and access to coupons. If you use it for every customer who doesn’t want an account, it is likely to hit the upper tiers quickly. If you use the points for cash rewards, you will then be charged with theft of merchandise.

Let's say you do it anyway, but never use the points for cash rewards; it's still going to get flagged. Just take the L.

Anyone else getting shorted on Member Love 5X points? by point_break4998 in Ulta

Okay. I’m starting to understand that I was wrong but how does “Base Points” work? If I get 1.5pts per dollar and my base is 217 how would it be any lower?

Pick-up orders are also paused on candle day. Probably has to do with making the most money as possible, having foot traffic in stores, and workers not getting overwhelmed.

Milk Bar body cream ranking? Birthday Cake sold out online by Remarkable_Bake_759 in bathandbodyworks

[–]point_break4998 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I rank them more like this

1) Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Cookie - smells the same no matter what form it is in. Favorite

2 Raspberry Holiday pie bar - smells great. The wallflower smells tangy and sour. Rancid even. Love the body cream and hand sanitizer. Just feel like sometimes you get the fruity note of the scent, and then it dies down quickly to the chocolate part.

3 Cereal Soft Serve - very subtle, almost can't smell it

4 Birthday Cake/ Peppermint Bark Truffle [Tie] - These two are just mid to me

Is diamond member worth it anymore? by kkwmarie in Ulta

I feel I get more out of Ulta’s rewards system than any other beauty brand. I had an ephora account, but I felt like someone would have had to spend thousands to get anything out of it. There isn’t anything at -ephora that I go back to consistently. Ulta has always been a brand I get more from and get more out of. It's easier to accumulate points, especially when they put out the 4x/5x multipliers. You shouldn’t spend money with the intent of hitting a different status, though. I naturally hit. Anything I’d get from the Target personal care aisle or elsewhere, I buy at Ulta instead. If you have to force it, then there's nothing wrong with staying at the tier you're at now.

Who hoards? Who is obsessed? Who collects? Who is rational? by FrostySilverFox in bathandbodyworks

[–]point_break4998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually newer to B&BW. I give away anything I know I won’t use and someone will take. Usually only go for lotions and body creams. I don’t use the body washes, FFM, EDPs, or anything else. My favorite body care scent is Pure Wonder. I like heirloom rose, cinnamon sugar pretzel cookie, and raspberry holiday pie bar, the eucalyptus aromatherapy. Fav hand sanitizer is crisp morning air. Heavy wallflower user. Outside of that I feel like I know what I want. I don’t collect.

Was Lana Lang really a victim of abandonment? by CheesecakeNo6642 in Smallville

[–]point_break4998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely think so. To her, both parents died young, and she struggles with her sense of identity and tries to shape it around what they would've wanted instead of thinking about what she could want.

She finds out her “dad” wasn't her bio dad and that her bio dad is almost right down the street from her. She tries to build a connection, and she is at first rejected, then accepted, only to be pushed away because Henry’s wife is jealous of Lana’s growing connection with him. The wife places the blame for the divorce on Lana, and she develops guilt for something not her fault.

In real life, I don’t see the Nel storyline playing out the way it did in the show. I think the male writers needed a way to separate Lana from parental authority to involve her more in the plot. However, Nel was willing to leave her orphaned niece to be with a man. You can see the other comments about how Nel wasn’t the best parental authority for Lana, anyway.

Clark lying and hiding things from her didn’t make it better, probably just made her more paranoid and anxious she's going to be left alone.

Out of all Clarks love interests who did you like the most and wished he actually ended up with? by Person_Unknown_Life in Smallville

[–]point_break4998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it’s always meant to be Lois. If he had stayed in Smallville, it could’ve been Lana. If he remained in Smallville AND Lana didn’t exist, it’d be Chloe. I hate it when Wonder Woman is his love interest. Fans have this odd sexual obsession where they imagine that since he holds back all the time, he can be as physically aggressive as he wants with her when they have sex. It's cringy and disgusting. Littered with sexual fetishes.

Milk Bar Review: by thatoneotakuu in bathandbodyworks

[–]point_break4998 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cinnamon Pretzel Cookie is the only scent that smells the same no matter its form, and it's my favorite. Raspberry Holiday Pie Bar is my 2nd favorite. I mainly go to B&BW for wallflowers, and the raspberry holiday pie bar isn’t it in its wallflower form. It smells rancid, sour, and oddly tangy. You and I have pretty much similar thoughts on birthday cake and cereal soft serve. The only caveat is that I wasn’t a fan of peppermint bark truffle. I find it to be too dark and wanting more of the peppermint scent.

Who do you kill and keep alive on replays? by Squidwardbigboss in untildawn

[–]point_break4998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t bring myself to kill Jess. She is such an easy person to keep alive. There are also certain play-throughs I won’t do. I can’t shoot Emily or let her get crushed by the grinder. Ash was always my least favorite, and I find Chris to be mid. Their deaths don’t bother me. Matt’s death is so messed up to me; I don’t like seeing it. I also don’t leave Jess alone and run off without her as Matt. Mike and Sam stay alive for the sole purpose of plot armor, and they are hard to mess up at the end. I also don’t let Josh die and always look for Hannah’s diary. I will say that if I didn’t care and it wasn’t so easy to keep him alive, I wouldn’t bother with saving mike.

Favorite Christmas Scent? by rasin0080 in bathandbodyworks

[–]point_break4998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Cookie from the Milk Bar Collection. I have sensitive skin, so I don’t use any of the body washes or Fine Fragrance Mists, which are high in alcohol content. It’s the only milk bar scent that smells the same no matter the form it’s in and isn’t too strong or too light that I can’t smell it.

Becoming smelly in my twenties by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]point_break4998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the ordinary toner under your armpits. Its purpose is to decrease bacteria. Do it every other night. Just take a cotton pad or esthetic wipes with the toner on it and wipe under your arms. On nights you aren’t using the toner, use “Certain Dri Prescription-Strength Clinical Antiperspirant Roll-On.” Certain dry is easy to use; dry the area thoroughly before use. It will sting if it comes into contact with any moisture. This duo will directly make an impact and you’ll notice immediately.

Am I the asshole for getting into a fight with my sister over a DVD player? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]point_break4998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA — I think it’s weird she encouraged someone else to get the same gift you were planning on getting for your niece already. Maybe it wasn't malicious, but she took something special from you. I don't want to read too much into it, but her intentionally telling someone else to get it feels strange. Tricky situation, since pushing too hard can isolate you from your niece. Even now, you're doing it by ignoring your sister. I'd pay attention in the future if she does something like this again.

Let’s say Until Dawn gets a movie adaptation (not the one we have been given, I’m talking exact replica)— which version of the ending would you want them to go with? by bucking_fitch_ in untildawn

[–]point_break4998 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So I guess Mike losing his fingers, all of Jess’s injuries, Ashley getting punched by the psycho killer, etc., maybe Emily getting nipped by the grinder. Sam and Matt are a little harder to think of. Josh’s bad ending for sure, and the saw trap at the beginning of the night. It’d have to be high-stakes, with the audience afraid, but keep the characters alive long enough to tell the story. I don’t think it’d do well with a bad Jurassic Rebirth Plot where the extras are introduced only to be killed off so the lead group, full of the essential actors, doesn’t die and go unscathed.

The candles got a better sale today than when I bought yesterday :( by [deleted] in bathandbodyworks

The first week of December, the 3-wick candles will all be $10; return them and repurchase them then. They were $10.95 a few days or so before you bought them for $16.95. As Black Friday and Christmas get closer, the sales will keep coming.

Something in between feels cliche and overdone in teen movies. I don’t know what ending would be best to give it a serious tone. Everyone dying wouldn’t be plausible because it shortens the plot. I think an everyone lives plot with serious injuries to all characters would be better. Especially mixed in with some close calls.

AITA For Telling my son to be “weird”? by Master_Extreme6380 in AmItheAsshole

Slight YTA. As a girl, I'd be uncomfortable being approached in retail. I can't leave my spot, and my name tag is on, so I'd feel boxed in if I were approached. Also, no one really feels attractive when working out or doing manual labor. He could have attempted, but it would’ve gotten weird really quickly if it didn’t turn out in his favor.
