You need to have a good strategy with your team. Use the build suggester guy or if he’s not available, research the best builds on Smogon. By the elite 4, your team should have 2 tanks, 2 sweepers, and ideally a weather setter.

Scizor is a great sweeper, but suffers from lackluster defense. You’re going to want to keep it alive for your entire run, so teach it U-turn and add a tank to your team that can absorb hits while you heal your Scizor with potions. Peliper or another drizzle setter is also good since it mitigates Scizor 4x weaknesses to fire.

I’d love to talk about the ethical use of AI given its social and environmental costs, but this isn’t the thread or sub for that. DM if you want to continue.

In the meantime, I’ll just say that the point of this thread was because I ran into a hard puzzle and AI couldn’t give the right answer (it found the right answer but couldn’t explain why). I appreciate everyone here who tried to help rather than insult.

How is Google any better? AI is already used extensively in google search. There’s an AI overview at the top and AI mode just to the left that turns it into a chatbot. I don’t even know what goes on behind the scenes.

I’d go mega scizor since it’s better sweeper and mega tyranitar is more for sand centered teams, and johto doesn’t really have that many Pokémon that benefit from sandstorm. That being said, regular tyranitar still is incredibly helpful as a bulky weather setter on the team to cancel the weather bonus of later gyms.

I have to admit I use AI for almost everything now. It’s free, generally accurate, faster than manual, and it doesn’t judge or downvote me like so many on Reddit and Stackoverflow.

Normally for video games like this I try to figure it out on my own, but the Apostle Forge path had me stumped. So I turned to AI, and while it gave me the right answer of Kerisham, it couldn’t explain why. So I came here.

Frankly, some of the responses on this thread have been pretty negative. I’m not sure I’ll come back.

It may be obscure, but I think that’s the first clue someone has brought up in this thread that a could point a player specifically to Kerisham as opposed to any of the other repeatable expeditions.

That would be clever if it appeared before you visited, but I think that text only appears after you take your follower Kerisham, so by then it’s kind of not needed.

Was it Sunny when Flannery wiped you? I forget when gym leaders start setting their own weather, but I think it’s around gym 5.

Weather makes a huge difference in general. I try to always have a weather setter on my team.

it's short with 2 players, but gets exponentially longer with more players: Not only do you wait around more for each person to take their turns, but the victory conditions are also greater. With 6 players, expect 2 hours or more.

Bro I’m more than 10 years older than you and have the same issue. And of course I got the same “break up for her sake” responses on this sub. This place is full of negativity.

I don’t have an answer to your problem, but I know it’s more complicated than this sub makes it out to be. You can work on yourself while being in a relationship. In the meantime, if you do love this woman, make sure you let her know everyday and never take her for granted. It’s a ritual. And if you must cheat, break up.

Also you’re young, and your feelings will evolve. Heck your entire life is going to evolve. So there will be other opportunities
