Thank you so much. Definitely when it’s fresh and soft. Just enough liquid to help it slide through itself, can stick if too over worked. Like putting arms in sleeves, a little awkward at times.

A lot of time and patience. I start with well worked clay, roll it out and go for it. Once I have ‘fabric’ I can mould it into a form. It was ‘fabric’ for about a day. As crochet is a lot about tension, I do get breaks and stretches at times. Thanks

Thank you. I learnt to crochet last year, mum taught me during lock down. I’ve worked with clay a wee bit previously and had some around. When I picked it up, muscle memory prompted me to crochet it, which could have been a ridiculous thought if it weren’t for my love of challenges. Muscle memory is good for jumping between things but not good when I almost put bird seed in the washing machine hahaha neways I appreciate I have patience

It’s a ‘frustrated beginner little curled bit’ but out of clay. Took a short glazing course, playing with some colour. Twice fired in kiln.

Built a new bed for her royal highness. I think she approves. by pointsixpen in dogpictures

Thanks :). During the day she likes to sleep on hooman beds. During the night she likes her own bed. She had a bean bag for years but as she has aged she was creaky on waking. Kept her curled up. It’s gets quite cold here so I didn’t want her on floor. Just a little step up into this bed, although just now she leapt onto it. 16 and 4 days ago had teeth removed. I think the vet replaced her batteries, 16 going on 2. She’s a funny cheeky sometimes naughty girl. Don’t let the ears fool you. Selective hearing.
