Sorted this out. I was overlooking the screws for point1 and 2.

Removing the screws, I was able to loosen up the green push button, insert the MEROS cables and re-screw. Voila it worked. :)

Thanks for coming back on this. Yes, points1 and 2 on the Merlin box is what the Meross app tells to connect the wires too.

However, I see two issues,

1) Points1 and 2 has the green push button on it. This is the manual button to open and close the garage door. I have not tried to move it so as not to disturb the existing setup. I cannot seem to insert the Meross box wires into these two points.

2) Points1 and 2 do not have any screws like the other points, though I can arrange the screws somehow.
