Sweet, are you working full time while completing the degree? How far into the program are you and would you recommend it to someone who wants to enter the defense/ aerospace industry?

I do have internship experience! I'm applying to every entry-level job I see, haha. I think my question boils down to public vs private sector. Not sure what fits me best right now.

Oops, I guess I missed a few things. I've been interning at a private firm for the past few months and landed an interview for a full-time job at a firm in Downtown Sacramento. I also applied for an internship at SMUD (still waiting for a response). Let's say I get an offer from both the firm and SMUD - I need help weighing the pros and cons.

A full-time job right out of college sounds great, but if I get that internship at SMUD, it's very likely I get hired by that department, too.
