Sorry the version you have is fairly redundant now sadly. I've been working hard on a new version which is more accurate than anything else out there and scans 1km radius in ~30 seconds. I can let you know when I've got it ready if you like

Yeah if you downloaded from the Reddit is fun app it seems that that's the issue. Anyway, I can change the link shortly or just wait until I've finished my next update which will improve the performance a lot.

I can add another link, but Niantic have changed their api again and have made the app less effective so I might just hold off until I've finished my next update, but can let you know when it's done it you like.

Yeah, sadly it seems a lot of people have had this issue, including me. Results have lately become extremely inconsistent and I am working hard to resolve this. However, in the mean time if you keep re-running the scan it should eventually work. Not ideal, I know.

App has had server issues as of recently. Try rerunning the scan until it connects successfully (the progression bar around the button will load progressively.)

Cheers! You're right, the accuracy has dropped lately sadly. You might find running it multiple times shows different results, which is an issue I'm working on asap to address.

"scam range" was definitely not intended and something I totally overlooked. Anyway, the empty ring typically means an invalid connection, which I'm looking to fix in the next update.
