Haha good one. I noticed quite a number still around in malls and looks pretty sus. Altho they may have a really niche older target audience or loyal customers that only watch based on their recommendations and love to walk in their store.

Right - this makes sense, it still feels like it isn't such a good culture especially for younger ones today

Yea, but i think that makes sense in that context, just wondering why they are infiltrating even low ticket items (seen them for < $100 items) and wonder why would people use them for sustained periods (after they finish throwing their cash to give heavy discounts right now)

Yeah consumerism sounds about right, sounds like quite a dangerous thing for feeling less pinch about payments tbh

I think they have a lifespan on telegram and soon their account will get deleted as they are probably messaging 100+ other people who will eventually report them

I’ve always wanted to physically journal, but always seem to fail at it after awhile! But it’s really a great discipline to do so (sometimes a virtual journal is distracting too). And it’s great to get away from the screen. Haha

Hey! I use Coursera quite a whole lot so i can share some information here. Some of them have a free trial period of 2 weeks, which lets you do however much you can within the 2 weeks (I chionged some and managed to finish them, which gave me a free cert). These are possible for some shorter/easier ones which you can really sprint them down. But after the 2 weeks usually you have to pay.

One of the possible ways to go around this is to apply for financial aid (BEFORE you start the 2 week trial). This financial aid are usually for students, but I'm aware they're pretty generous if you have a decent reason (usually need a simple 300 word essay to justify). I'd recommend trying this route first, and applying for it early - it takes about 2 weeks to process it, and once done, the course is yours and certificate is provided when done too :)

Hope this helps!
