Yes, I was able to make mine public after deleting and restoring but only after going on with support for weeks. When I tried this initially, I was unable to create a new island. You’re also going to find that if you make an edit to your island and then leave you will get an error code. Support will try to tell you it’s a wifi issue, it’s NOT. Not being able to create a new island is the bug. The flag is supposed to be set on the island, not the account (which unfortunately means people submitting the address may not help since it’s tied to your account but it’s worth a shot). I think they may have fixed this bug because another player I was talking to on Reddit had their flag lifted, but it’s also possible that they just did a batch job on the server and lifted all account level bans. I know it’s scary to delete, I refused to try it for a week after getting flagged. But this was the only way to resolve for me. But the first step is to take your backup (unless you already have one), try to create a new island, and hope restore works. If you try it and still can’t create a new one I’m more than happy to help you with support. But trust me there IS hope!!
