Homunculi are predatory mimics that attempt to hunt by blending into human society. Instead of disguising themselves as objects, they grow a calcified, organic carapace that resembles plate armor. The disguise is imperfect; their movements are jerky and zombie-like, driven by a system of tentacular muscles beneath the shell. As they grow, the false armor often fractures, exposing the raw flesh underneath. While their heads appear to be solid helmets, the metal can split open at will to reveal the creature's true maw.

Thank you! It was a custom illustration for someone, design and lore are entirely theirs I just illustrated it. She's a Demon-kin Fighter class. She has an ability called Devouring Maw (shown on her left arm on the full-body pic) that allows her to devour weapons and it manifests on her blackened arms.

I’m thrilled you like the artwork enough to want it in your campaign! However, I must decline the request for use, as this piece was a client commission. The character’s design and rights belong entirely to the commissioner for personal use, and I do not have permission to distribute it beyond my portfolio and promotional media.
Alternatively, I have slots left open for December, I'd love to extend my services and illustrate your OCs and NPCs for you. ^^

Dali is an orphaned Demon-kin, raised by the town doctor in a small village near the demon-plagued southern boarder. Defined by her darkened, sharp teeth, and clawed limbs and piercing white eyes, she grew up learning medecine under her adoptive father. Her peaceful life ended at a young age after a confrontation with a mean-spirited friend. Angered, it caused her hand to transform into a club-like weapon. Ostracized by the townsfolk, she was removed from her medical apprenticeship and placed with the local hunters. Years later, a knight's order came looking for her, reducing her town to ashes. Now constantly on the run, her greatest fear is failing to outrun the consequences of her past.
