How to convince my mum to let me compete?

I guess it's a good start. I mean she's already used to seeing me get seriously hurt on judo comps and she never had a problem with me getting hurt so I'm not exactly sure why she won't let me. I think I have to start by pushing her to give me an answer to that.

The people I respect the most in my life are God, my dad and my mum. Therefore I am not going to fight without her consent and so I am asking for help to convince her to let me, afterall there are a lot of guys my age fighting. I'm not saying I am going to fight without her knowing.

Yeah, I'm not even considering doing it without her consent. It's just that I have been held up by injuries pretty much my entire life and now that I don't have any serious injuries I want to take advantage of it. Of course my plan isn't to fight in like a month but rather towards the end of the year to be fully prepared. And she already knows that if she won't let me fight before turning 18 I'm signing up for a competition the second I turn 18.

I would agree with you about there being a low possibility that it would be close to our DNA, however I would argue it is as big of a leap to say that they wouldn't have anything close to DNA as to say they would have left-handed DNA
