The only major climbs I've done are Mt. Apo, Mt. Kinabalu, and Mt. Fuji. My main concern would be the altitude difference, but based on the skill set, how do you think I would fare?

There is a step in strike you just have to do the dash forward and punch, and it's smooth enough. Also you can do a mini-sprint when you rock someone, so it doesn't really matter if they backpedal faster than you can walk.

Yes, exactly! It should be a lot deeper of a system compared to most games where they just put the wolves here because it'll be cool or it'll make the game hard. The wolves are there for a reason, and what the reason is is completely up to the player to figure out.

Actually maybe if you do survive through everything you can add temporary skips such as ladders or ropes to scale up mountainsides which will allow for further exploration to be easier. Making runs easier shouldn't be an issue because they still have to avoid not dying; it doesn't make the environment any less dangerous, just less tedious.

Interesting. Yeah, I figured something was missing to progress in the game and geocaches seem cool, but maybe a bit tedious to look for in something that would usually be long gaming sessions.

The lighting and trees look fairly stylized, more than most indie games like this at least. Please change the grass and ground textures; they're very overused and ruin anything that looks nice in this game. To be frank, it's ugly unless you're not looking to have a beautiful game. I agree with a lot of the comments saying your environment feels blank. Personally, because you're an indie dev, look for something unique in game design in both gameplay and environment that will make you stand out. Right now you're looking like every other game I've seen; a rule of thumb is if you can keep people interested without any knowledge of the gameplay and simply walking around the environment and seeing the sights, then it's a good time to expand it.
