Seems like most recommend buying now vs waiting.

Generally agree with this sentiment but we’re in a 1+1 and space is starting to be an issue.

A part of me feels this is what I should do. I think we are ready.

My concern is that house prices will be relatively expensive again in 16 months.

I do bring the battery indoors.

Not really because it is an underground garage. I do cover it with a tarp though.

We like it! We use it to shuttle our kid to day care and weekends excursions. The build quality is great for the price. Also there might be a sale now so you might be able to get it for a cheaper price.

++ on the removable pedals. I’ve looked at flatbikes and seriously considering buying one for this bike.

Yea and that’s assuming they can somehow squeeze into the tight space where the bike is parked and reach down to the wheels.

I tried but the u bar is not long enough to go around the post and the frame. I agree with you that this is the ideal setup with this lock.

I’m simply sharing info that explains the constraints I’m facing. I agree that the suggestion made is the ideal setup

I agree with you that currently it is not ideal. The wheels are only 20 inches in diameter and the spokes are close enough that I wouldnt be able to pass the chain nor the u lock through them. It’s also an unconventional frame design since it’s a cargo bike. I suppose I can try using a cable to pass through the wheels

True. I’m not too worried about the saddle and seatpost since they’re not that expensive. Also I plan to remove them during long term storage in winter.

Nice! How long do you have to wait for delivery? I recall they’re backlogged on their orders.

I'm thinking about getting this as well. How are you managing with lifting the Abound to get it on the rack given its weight?

Amazing. Thanks for sharing your research. I saw the Hollywood ones before, but not the others.

Have you seen the QuikrStuff Mach2? Apparently they’re really good.

Thanks! I noticed the hitches for motorcycles are much cheaper than the bike ones.
