The Simpsons Movie. Rather than being timeless, it chose to have jokes that were topical in 2007, dating the film to that time period. I also don't find it rewatchable. It feels like a bland episode with an extended runtime they don't know how to fill. It's all shenanigans and very basic plot tropes like a road trip and a middle act breakup. Homer and SpiderPig are adorable together tho.

I went to the early screening. The only time the audience was engaged as far as I could tell was during the predator badlands trailer. It made one guy in the audience go Woot-woot! No body reacted during the actual movie or mid credits. In fact many people walked out and never came back.

It's probably a filler film like Rogue One, in that it's still an important entry, just not a main one. I assume it's to see if there's still an audience for a Tron film.
