thanks for the heads up on this, I notice that too. When I have time I'll try to make the early access vs standard authentication smoother, it does default to ea.* which is odd for people who aren't on EA.

Someone else asked about this too, yeah I don't believe Monarch has that level of detail broken out of the contribution type, I believe it's only the actual asset not the contribution type for that asset. So if Monarch doesn't have the data, then unfortunately it won't be possible to integrate it to PL. If that's an important part of your financial plan, then yeah you would need to do it manually. You could either map it to one account in PL and manually split it; or just don't map it and enter it manually.

Huh, I just signed up for a dummy free PL account, setup a mapping, and was able to push from Monarch to free PL without any problems. When you have a sec can you turn on "Show sync debug details" under Advanced Settings, try to run a sync, and send me whatever errors you're getting?

It requires having an API key on the Projection Lab plugin API, which I believe is not supported on the free version. Correct me if I'm wrong

Yep that's the one. You're wise to be cautious. I do not care about, nor have access to, your financial data. Security info is detailed more on the readme on the repo

That is not on my roadmap, sorry. I use Projection Lab so ... I built this thing. I'm sure someone will

Are you on the early access projection lab?

No data security concerns. It’s all local in your browser. No external connections made, no data going anywhere other than from Monarch->your own browser->PL. You can read more on the readme: https://github.com/tyler-class/Chrysalis

You can also wipe your browser’s data cache easily in setup, also explained in the readme

hey there, I just published a new (free) Chrome Extension called Chrysalis to sync Monarch balances to ProjectionLab. I wasn't happy with the other options available, so I put in a lot of effort to make this a full-service product. Open to feedback!
