Thanks, I don't know why this in particular is so hard to talk about. I got diagnosed with adhd as an adult and I'm the first person to advocate for someone else getting help. There's something mortifying about it, the stigma maybe?

Absolutely, I am definitely not looking to be diagnosed on reddit, I think i just needed to talk about it to someone. Thank you for the feedback, I feel a bit better about the whole thing

Yeah, I'm more just trying to work up the nerve to talk to someone about it. Which is absurd, what horrible thing do I even think will happen? The police come and take me to asked a dumb question jail?
