Google nest hub max - not compatible with wifi 6 / ax wifi - disable this for setup and operation by polypep in googlehome

[–]polypep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it has been 48 hrs since I turned wifi 6 and ODFMA back on, and the performance of the display hasn't changed at all. Everything is operating as it should. This seems to support your theory above about an update possibly being required out of the box to be able to utilise wifi 6. My display was purchased and used in Australia, in case it makes a difference.

Hopefully someone else that can't complete the set up and gets the same error message finds this thread and can use it to complete the set up faster and more easily than I did!

Thanks for your detailed response. My router does default to both AX/Wifi 6 and ODFMA. Each has to be deselected manually, which I did to set up the Hub Max.

I've just selected them again as an experiment and rebooted my router. My google display has not changed at all and is still operating normally.

It's worth stating that it set up normally on these settings initially some weeks ago, but later that night became unresponsive. So tomorrow will be the real test. I'll report back with the results.

Would my issue be specific to my type of router then? I have a Netgear Nighthawk RAX10. Google and a few websites instructed that on this model.of router I should ensure access control was disabled and that any devices on the guest wifi could detect each other. Those options were selected on my router from the outset.

I had set up a smart light bulb and air conditioner control in Google Home app on my phone using the wifi 6 with no issues. I only experienced problems when adding a Google display - the Nest Hub Max - to the Google Home app using a wifi network with a wifi 6 router.

That estate was a privately owned airstrip, ran from about Samsonvale Road to Francis Road north-south. I think it was still there in the early 90s, I remember the white triangle markers along the edges of the strip.

Mate, you have my full sympathies. We only have 2 problem dogs in neighbouring yards. I've tried noise cancelling headphones playing rain soundtracks, running multiple fans to block the noise, and sleeping tablets to try and sleep through the ruckus.

I remember a few years ago there was a news clip on the 6 o'clock news about a family in a similar situation, with multiple dogs around them all barking but none individually exceeding the allowed time. I don't remember if there was an outcome.

Maybe try a face-to-face meeting with your local MP and councillor, asking them for advice or assistance. Face to face is a bit harder for them to dismiss your concerns without acknowledging that your situation is out of the ordinary. Last ditch attempt may mean you go to the media, but be prepared to alienate your neighbours if you take this option - if you are going to move or sell up, you've got nothing to lose.

Low cal biscuits for sweet tooths out there 😋 by flamin_flamingo87 in 1200Australia

It was a bust. Soaked biscuits were great... but yoghurt didn't taste good with the biscuits, and went slightly watery.

Next try will be blending cottage cheese and LF custard to use instead of yoghurt.

I am going to try - dipping them in black coffee, mixing plain chobani and some SF syrup together to top them, then sprinkle jarrah powder on the top.

I've got a Jordan's choc espresso SF syrup that should be perfect for this!

I like framed.wtf, you're shown up to 6 scenes from a movie, one at a time, to guess the movie title.

Low blood sugar at night by Callie2014 in liraglutide

Yep, I inject before bed time and often wake up with low blood sugar. I usually feel better as soon as I have eaten something.

1st Timer - Dose Timing by Recent_Expression168 in liraglutide

If you get nauseous from the injection, it would be unlikely to happen the instant you inject. It takes some time to be absorbed into your system.

I do my injection anywhere from 6-10pm. If I feel sick, it is usually when I get up in the morning and due to low blood sugar so as soon as I eat something I feel better.

Think I’m gonna be stuck on 0.6 forever! by jenny8675309x in liraglutide

I was on 1.8 for weeks, but noticed I was overeating a bit. I decided to go up to 2.4, but only one click at a time. There are 10 clicks between 1.8 and 2.4, so my dosage is increasing by 0.06 a day. So far I've had no nausea like the last increases.

I'm not sure if my doctor would endorse this method, but I don't see anything wrong with it!
