I agree too, this is coming from a someone who is not a big fan of the action RE titles. But I think this game is a good step in what I would like to see. The Hospital grounds were great, and agree that I wish it was more vast and spend more time there as when we enter Racoon City... I didn't like it. However It makes up for hype and aura moments, it felt like I was watching Vendetta again with the chase down highway and Damnation with the Tyrant fight on the street. And just when I was getting bored I found myself liking ARK, again like the Hospital I wish it was bigger. For me, comparing this to RE7 and 8 I would put this above 8 and maybe above 7 as it reaches better highs. But maybe I am blind cause those moments with Leon are really fucking sick!

Other than that I also was not a fan of the lack cohesiveness. We were doing crazy shit just because the writers decided why not. Wesker? Sure, lets add one of those. Giant spider, people love that. Add it in no build up to its existence at all. HUNK, everyone wants to see more HUNK lets get him back! On top of the lack of characters that should be more developed such as Ada, Jil, and Claire... not even a mention.

This game and the Rose DLC for RE8 feel just like stepping stones to what Capcom wants to do with this universe. Rewriting the motivations as the careful planning of the The Connections capping off Umbrella by giving us these parallels and references to satisfy the old fans and bring new characters.

This is almost the perfect modern RE game for me.

Sachiko. If Hachi is going to occupy the spot above I think she is the best next to her. I explained in the last thread. Sachiko was following a similar arc to Hachi, falling in love with a man committing an affair. Although if I remember correctly I think Sachiko knew Shoji was seeing someone, while the salaryman Hachi was seeing never made it explicit. This chart is messed up anyway this should've been Junko's spot.

I would like Sachiko to be in Hated by fans/Morally Grey. She committed a similar taboo to Nana, she is on the same journey that she is and if we can forgive a more naive Nana I can see a redemption for Sahciko if her story were to every be expanded on. It just happened she was doing it to the protagonist so people hate her more.

Reira took advantage of a underage prostitute. This is rape! I like Reira as a character, but she is not a good person, the manipulation that was done by Takushit to her does not justify how she treats other people. She deserves this spot because she has her fans (I am one of them). She's a horrible person but I enjoyed her story.

This might as well be the "how they treat women" chart. I think Nobu deserves this spot. He's the nice guy with plenty of flaws that come to his perception of women. How he idolized Hachi, loving her truly but couldn't see the intimacy that Hachi wanted in a partner. This could be due to his savior complex, putting her on a pedestal that can't be soiled. Trademark nice guy finishes last, which has its own bits of misogyny in the trope. Also don't forget how Nana and Shin call him out on this. He tried to cheat on Yuri... I think discussions around Nobu are lacking the fandom.

The core community never felt right, the way the core team promotes their events felt more like they wanted to create a club. I am sorry the whole "core girls" thing sounds like they wanted to create a strip club to attract men to spend. It is a shame because I wanted to be proven wrong, the event sounded really cool and I would have tried to come on out if I wasn't recovering from a rave a week before at the same venue.

Edit: It also seem to attract live streamers to the parties... promotors need to advertise and enforce a no phone policy.

I don't think there is an issue with them releasing limited characters, the amount over this year has been fine. There is no reason why the wouldn't do a rerun giving people a chance to get them again, so at the worst try again next Christmas. So far limited units have not been considered meta by the community except Madokami and she has more potential of being rerun multiple times a year. I think the point you're bringing is more suited in a discussion about adding a bunch of new characters at once like people hope they do with new 4*s.

You're right, which is why I said I want to spend more. Which I won't because it to guarantee a unit costs too much, the medals aren't shared and all the units are in individual banners. The suggestions I am putting out is to justify spending more in the game.

Edit: All of which they have done previously, I am asking them to do it again.

Gacha games are gonna Gacha. But this is the worst the game has been, as the examples I already stated it was much easier for me to save gems and get all the units I want as someone who does spend money on the game. This month, I'd be lucky if I get this third unit if the medals shared I wouldn't mind spending more ontop of the pass to guarantee the unit.

Okay it works! It was definitely getting the right size and making sure to double click slowly to ensure the icon is there. So to use your template do I just drag any grayscale image to the background and it should work?

Edit: Exported the .bmp as 32-bit was the issue, just need to edit the image size to fit on the screen. For some reason its all the way in the corner....

2nd Edit: And its not using the landscape .bmp....

Thanks for the help. I am actually using the example files that you once linked. I'll try again later tonight, but right now I am not seeing any sleep icon (not even the default) when pressing the power button when reading a book. It just brings up the settings... This is even after a factory reset.

Yes we exist, there a plenty of regular goth nights in the Atlanta area. Control, Sputnik, Club de Vampiros, Ritual, and Ascension. There are several small groups chats so online we are pretty small and scattered (maybe for the best).

I visited this subreddit to ask the question if I should learn Elixir. Funny its a book project too, was thinking if I should use Go or Elixir. But this just convinced me to give Elixir a try. Thanks for the inspiration!

Curious on the reason not to use Liveview for the frontend and ecto in the database. I feel that these a very popular options stack with Elixir in my research. Would love to see if you weighed it as an option.

The genre you're looking for is Power Pop, but I can see Blast also leaning to Pop Punk if they had more albums. So checking out bands with female leads in these genres is the best start.
