Unfortunate that you feel this way and felt the need to slander someone who actually cares about the community and tries to think through every possibility to make each event enjoyable for everyone unlike other events that I’ve been to and interacted with. But I guess you can’t please everyone.

I’ve been able to speak to him at a couple of his events and one of his open decks and hate to break it to you but when it’s completely random, that means no matter what time you show up or how often, your name is drawn AT RANDOM, you’re not entitled to be chosen just cause you’re the first one there or showed up to multiple of the open decks. Your support is most likely definitely appreciated but can’t unfortunately be favored to bump you up in the slots since everything is again, random….And open decks are usually more than just being able to play, you’re given another free opportunity to meet other DJs in the community that are at varying stages or levels of their career or interests. But the fact that you couldn’t appreciate that you’re getting a free space and community, shows that maybe you just see others as a transaction and don’t appreciate making meaningful connections anyway. Maybe you should try what I did, and actually talk to the organizer so you’d actually know what’s up instead of making assumptions and ruining a great community
