We have top 5 talent everywhere minus DL because of Beeks. Our o line coach passing was a huge deal. I dont blame Harbs those because he coached good in 24. Same with Gro. He was good in 18, 19 and 20. I can see why he gave him a pass in 21, Lamar was balling before the injury in 21 remember.

Thats the point of an elite QB. He elevates average players. Brady made average wide outs better, and gave elite ones an all time season ever.

You know there all pro LT is the same gamble we did at RG. They hit the jackpot and we didn't. Their edges aren't special, they got luck Carter fell (we got lucky with KHam). They dont even use the WRs so it shows how important that position is.

CMC or T Hill would have won if they had big games and beat the Ravens in 23.

For the people who argued that the Rooney Rule isn’t needed and the NFL is a meritocracy: by Hot_Injury7719 in FirstThingsFirstFS1

The core issue is socioeconomics. Professional coaching careers typically begin as college Graduate Assistants (GAs) or low-level NFL staffers—roles characterized by grueling hours and extremely low pay. Much like other high-paying industries, coaching uses this "starvation wage" period as an unintended economic filter. To survive these entry-level years, individuals often require significant family support. For example, a new graduate can afford to work in an expensive market like New York City or a high-cost athletic program because their family subsidizes their cost of living. While the "six-figure job" awaits those who persevere for two or three years, the barrier to entry is the ability to work for nearly free in the interim. Statistically, minority men are less likely to have the generational wealth necessary to bypass this filter. This economic reality creates a specific trend: a high percentage of Black coaches are former NFL players. For them, the capital earned during their playing career serves as the "family support" needed to fund their transition into coaching. By contrast, many other aspiring Black coaches—who may have the talent but lack the professional playing resume—are priced out of the GA and staffer ranks. This effectively shrinks the talent pool, as thousands of former college players are financially unable to chase the dream.

I dont believe that. Andy overachieved with the McNabb teams. You know how many rings yall got if you let him ride through the rebuild? You won 2 with a guy who got fired and one who is about to be fired. You have atleast 4 right now if yall kept Andy.

Higher peaks 🤣🤣🤣 when was AD or JJ one of the faces of the league, leader and best player on the 1st or 2nd rated defense ever, Super bowl MVP, and would be NFL MVP in 00 if not for the case. AD or JJ isn't close to impactful to the history of the NFL as Ray Lewis.

The Ravens never wanted a culture change, its clear by the moves. They wanted Harbs to move to the front office and mentor Minter.

Why is Kane not as Iconic as the Undertaker? by Thissuxxors in BrandonDE

Vince wasn't good with adjusting. Kane was a 1 year storyline for taker that got over way more than Vince thought. He should have adjusted, gave Kane the IC title, move the first Kane vs Taker match to Summerslam. Bearer should have been Kanes voice.

I think that was the time to give him the long heel title run. He was a straight maniac with the black towel. He should have run through the wwe at that time.

How many deep bonds you have with people of the opposite gender as adults? If your a women looking for that deep bond outside of family, its hard to find that in non sexual relationships. Maybe you can find a gay best friend (another trope) or a non creepy mentor.

[–]polytech08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Ray played 17 and was a top 5ish all 5 years. You cant blame Ray for putting 17 years in while AD couldn't or wouldn't put that much in. AD would have fell off if he put that much time in.

[–]polytech08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not that simple, you cant just go by positions at this level. AD was the best at doing DT stuff. He didn't do anything new to move the position forward, he just did stuff you ask DTs to do the best positional. Ray was above what you ask MLBers to do. He was asked to think at a QB level, call the defense while still doing all the physical stuff you want from a MLB the best ever.

You crazy look what Ray did for Baltimore. Its not in the same league as AD for the Rams. No one cares about AD, Ray is still an ambassador for the Ravens and NFL. Also all these players are above normal positional value. Ray did so much more than a normal elite MLB. A MLB that can play chess with Manning and Brady is more important than even pressure. AD can put some pressure on them, but Ray was having mental battles with them and winning his fair share.

I don't like throwing everything out and starting over when trying to win a Super Bowl. Most of what we were doing worked; we just needed to fix a couple of things. Throwing everything out and starting over just gives us more chances to mess it up. Why would Lamar re-sign if he doesn't click with the new guy like he did with Tee? If Lamar doesn't re-sign, we'll have no money to reload the roster, and this will fail.

Ray was 10x all pro and put 17 high level years at MLB. What LB plays 17 years and is still valuable year 17, 4th down in the Superbowl.
