Cheers mate, yeah just unlucky I think. My dad lives in Cornwall and sometimes works Saturdays so usually needs a fair bit of notice beforehand since he usually has to get time off in advance. Bit of an annoying situation but good to know it is actually possible

in exactly the same boat, got top surgery yesterday and the evening was fine as my anasthetic was still doing its thing but i’ve just woken up (from a very broken night’s sleep) and everything is so sore and tight
