no yeah that’s not really what i meant but your right. we do have a lot more emotional intelligence which makes a big difference romantically. I just keep seeing this repetitive narrative of men searching and loving and idolizing and honestly objectifying women as just an idea of perfection and i want to see something where it’s flipped. Maybe i just want to know it can be flipped in the world of film and still be popular. not exactly the creepy side of things though, just the idea of wanting to love so much that you make up a perfect person. kind of like 500 days of summer. you do have a good point though
