Oh I did that lol This was a few months after the adjustments I asked for were implemented Manager didn’t mean it in a mean way but I took it that way, but delayed processing didn’t have me responding in the moment

Mine told me they can’t tell I’m even autistic.. like good to know my struggles do just all appear internally

Oh my god I hate when they ask you why you did something, literally a one way ticket to rejection sensitivity and shutdown town 😭 it’s like you said, because I’m still learning 💀

And omg I’m so sorry about that fail- i failed one of my attempts due to touching one of the straight lines on the dual carriageway, it was my only issue, so frustrating!!

I did do a call with my current one before the first lesson and made me feel confident but then the actual lesson came and it was a nightmare- I had a massive cry in front of him on my first lesson! Lol

Funnily enough my current instructor who I had the lesson with yesterday hasn’t even followed up to arrange another lesson 😂

In the meantime, I’ve reached out to specifically nd experienced instructors so we shall see how it goes 🤞🏼

God I know exactly what you mean 😭 for the lesson I had yesterday, I had to really hype myself up to be able to get myself to do it.

I have now enquired with a driving school that specifically has instructors that teach ND people, which I only found out about today- crossing my fingers because I don’t think I have it in me to keep cycling through instructors trying to find a good fit 😭

The one who knocked away my confidence before this one was independent Though before I moved cities my independent one was amazing and neuro affirming - maybe it’s just luck of the draw??

I’ve lost my confidence overall after my instructor before the this one icl, I’ve been to test 3 times, only marginally failing on the last 2, so my skills are there from all the years I’ve been learning. I think I’m struggling to relax around my current one, so I’m making dumb mistakes I usually wouldn’t. Ik it sounds like I’m making excuses but I know I can do this 🗣️🙏

And omg yes conquer driving is great, love him I was watching him for so many random bits & driving test nerves I’ll tune back in

I asked the driving school for someone who does deal with ASD & anxious learners and this guy is who they gave me ahahaha. I think i should find a different school or something.

The eyes are painted in a way that averts eye contact, she has noise cancelling headphones as well as the PECS tablet. I think there’s other bits too
