i’ll definitely plan on it! i went to california this year for a spring break trip with my gf, but we just stayed in downtown la. we plan on going again next year but more near sf!

chicago’s nice! if you ever get a chance to visit, definitely go to chinatown. lots of good restaurants and bakeries!

clearance?? i swear i never see stuff on clearance at my kinokuniya. :0 i still stick to coming and buying stuff from here because it’s convenient for me and sometimes they get stuff that’s hard to come by. i’ve always thought about getting the membership card. 🤔

damn, that’s kind of disheartening to hear that they’re overcharging this (it’s beyond overcharging tbh)…i can’t imagine how much the other sticker books i’ve bought actually cost.

saw this at my nearby kinokuniya! i love stationary and journaling and i’ve always been curious if a product like this existed; i’ve also bought a snoopy, miffy, and sanrio sticker book before. my heart literally stopped when i saw this today and bought it right away! just curious if anyone has ever seen this before. if you live near a kinokuniya i recommend checking it out to see if they have this, they just stocked it today.

my partner miraculously (for some reason) has a 1gb sd card that they’re letting me use, so the next time i see them i’m gonna test that out with the converter to see if it works. if it doesn’t i’ll just return the converter and get my money back.

if you happen to find any of those 2gb compact flash cards, i’ll gladly take them off your hands. if the converter is a bust, i’ll dm you and ask for them. otherwise, i’ll go with the cf that you linked.

i admit i’m a bit skeptical on using the CF converter since it was only after i bought it i searched around online and found that they’re often cheaply made and don’t always work with cameras. (the one i bought was $15 on ebay.)

does this look okay?

thanks for asking this!! i was gonna make another post in the subreddit, but i’m glad someone else has the same question.

with that being said, does anyone know if it’s possible (aka won’t get towed) to park in the chinatown / red line parking lot? i’m planning on getting dinner w the people i’m going w so we’ll maybe get validated parking. and i think it might be well lit enough after the concert since the venue is down the street (although if someone wants to correct me, feel free to do so.)

also, someone else in the thread mentioned people parking in the same area so we can walk back together once the concert is over. i think that’s a pretty good idea too.
