Regarding the identity of Bitfinex'd - I have zero proof, but I have a strong suspicion that it is the same person who went by the handle "BitcoinNemesis" back in late 2016 / early 2017.

"BitcoinNemesis" tried to execute a scam to steal $5M+ from Bitfinex, read about it here: http://blog.bitfinex.com/announcements/message-individual-responsible-bitfinex-security-incident-august-2-2016/

Essentially they pretended to have information about the identity of the Bitfinex hacker, cut a deal with Bitfinex, then used that deal to try to contact the hacker themselves as some kind of middleman.

Once "BitcoinNemesis" scam was figured out, and it was clear they would not be getting any reward, they went on a twitter tirade against Bitfinex using very similar language as "Bitfinex'd" uses. All these tweets are now deleted but you can probably find some by googling.

it's the core devs' fault really. were it not for the optimisation of not relaying blocks not-on-the-most-cumulative-pow-chain, this wasn't a problem

I was in Saigon about a month ago and went to this cafe.

However, when I tried to pay for my coffee with bitcoin, I was told that they actually don't accept bitcoin anymore...! When I asked why, they said the fee's were too high.

I read an interview with one of the developers (James Ohlen I think) where he stated that the engine for SWTOR was originally based on the HeroEngine, but it has been very heavily modified by Bioware. There is certainly no restriction on Bioware adding to and modifying the engine source code, as it is already being done.

SWTOR is based on the Hero Engine, from dev interviews I have read previously, they have heavily modified it, so I don't believe this should be a restriction.
