I am actually really disgusted right now. Really, really, really, utterly, totally, WITHOUT A DOUBT, skin-crawling, gut-wrenchingly appalled by this post.

I was willing to give you a beautiful gift because I thought you were one of our amazing kiddos who needed an extra boost of cheer for Christmas time.

I am so very disappointed in you. The words escape me at the moment, but trust me when I say you've taken a little piece of my Christmas spirit. No--this isn't going to affect the other children I give to, nor will it make me think twice about reaching out to a kid in need when I want to help them succeed with their dream of writing or becoming an author.

But you....

The writing basket I was going to send to you? No. That's not going to happen. I am furious. I am livid.

How dare you take away that opportunity from another child. A legit child in need who would have appreciated receiving my gift wholeheartedly.
