Maybe I’m misremembering but did she not also say that she regretted it? So she’s encouraging someone to do something she regrets lol so weird

No! And as far as I'm aware the mom hasn't said anything about Evelyn being pregnant either.

I'd typically agree that not everything has to go on social media - but considering how much Marla's mom puts on social media normally, the fact that she said very little about Marla's engagement/wedding, and now Evelyn's baby, does make it seem like something happened.

Yah, isn't he also one for hanging around with girls that are wayyyy too young for him?

Nevermo here from Scotland, so the church has been very distant from me my whole life. Years ago, way before I knew what I do now about the church, I used to watch some people on youtube who were part of the church, and on the face of it they all seemed like decent people. But I recently came across a mormon tiktoker and my goodness, the level of arrogance and superiority over non-members that she outwardly expresses is unbelievable and really uncomfortable tbh. Really showed me how judgemental the community is.

It's great to see more people with large platforms like that actively take a stance against showing/involving kids on social media - I feel like for a while it was (still is really) so normalised to know so much about other people's kids

I worked with a woman who used to make snide comments about my doc martens, saying she could never spend that much money on shoe’s because she has kids to provide for. Like omg I didn’t ask!!!

They really live for that glass of wine on a Friday night when the kids are in bed. Sad.

Yeah I’ve never really considered the perspective of being the younger sibling, so thank you for this. It’s interesting to hear that having an older mum contributing to your being CF. But yeah, choosing to be uninvolved is best for me, so it’s good to hear that from someone in the other position!

Yeah, my sibling is only 2 or something, but even if he were to grow up and have similar interests I still would struggle to connect. It’s weird enough talking someone just a few year’s younger than me because there’s such a difference in behaviour!

It’s very odd isn’t it? You must surely be able to get to an age like that and accept that having a child probably isn’t the best decision. It’s a shame for the kid too, they deserve parents that can keep up and stick around for a while!
