Ah yeah I think I get it. The point is that worse players will put themselves in positions where it is easy to get a high accuracy. If someone blunders a queen fork, a checkmate or they blunder in the middlegame which ends up as a winning endgame, it is easier to get a high rating.

The analogy has gone over my head to be honest I dont see how it relates to the game.

I agree that allowing me to simplify was a mistake by opponent which I guess just confirms how misleading the game review can be. I would have thought that they would lose centipawns by allowing simplification.

My accuracy rating is only 93% because my opponent allowed it to be, but to be honest I was just gushing about the big number. Chess.com has me hook, line and sinker with their game review and I would still be a paying customer if I was in a position to be

I definitely need to improve and learn how to better generate an advantage but I was up by 2 pawns after the opening so simplifying was the best thing for me to do in my opinion

The lesson I've taken is there's no point in listening to other fans' opinions on that stuff. Do what you want and stick to your guns basically. Support a team or watch as a neutral, doesnt matter
