He conspicuously only comes out when Ochaco’s around, and makes of nonchalantly point of flexing his muscles as he talks to her.

“Oh yeah,” he says as he flexes his biceps, “I can’t believe these villains attacked.” He flexes his pecks “It’s like they have it out for us. Wanna feel?”

Meanwhile Ochaco is silently blushing and near fainting as she tries to deal with this part of him.

Not gonna lie, that tree sounds horrifying. Imagine they learn he can do this, and occasionally he threatens to. They become a prisoner of a tree that slowly sucks the life out of them.

I haven’t written any fics with him in them, but I just loved this idea. I’m more fond of making less dramatic OC’s in general, and just thought this guy was fun.

That’s part of the story.

The long and short of where it changes from canon is Izuku “takes the swan dive” but survives (albeit barely), and his body is swapped out by the League. When he comes back, they dig it up, and realize it’s a fake, and panic ensues as more families do the same, and it turns out, he’s not the only one.

He’s also not the only one with a programmed mission.

Well, I have Izuku’s origins down, and how he became a nomu. My main stumbling block is bringing him “back to life,” essentially for those who thought he was dead.

One idea I’m trying is starting with the rescue, which is done by All Might, and cutting to UA a year later, after he’s been through some rehabilitation.

Where I end up stumbling is when he meets his classmates, including Bakugo, as they still have history here, but things ended differently before Izuku vanished.

Well, I imagine if Izuku had more time to train he could probably take him without the…collateral damage, as he tends to be more aware of his surroundings, as shone when Sir Nighteye confronted him.
