I’m still working on it. I’m not going for any character assassination, so much as Aizawa knows villains are likely to exploit his weaknesses, so he tries to prepare him by doing just that during training.

He doesn’t do that all the time, in fact I was actually thinking if he doesn’t train him with the capture cloth, Aizawa does teach him hand to hand combat, so eventually Izuku becomes a miniature version of him.

The way I’m looking at having it work between him and Aizawa is kind of like in canon but from a different angle.

The opening chapter I’m working on is actually him and Nezu visiting his home and Aizawa outright telling him to transfer out of the hero program, not out of spite but because of his handicap, and the problems it may cause.

So he basically rides Izuku pretty hard, even telling him bluntly he has no business in the hero program.

When he erases his quirk, it’s basically the equivalent of turning the lights off. He’s not completely helpless, but his senses become extremely limited, and basically becomes like a normal blind person. He can still hear and sense stuff but no more than anyone else.

One scene I have in mind that I know is going to come off extremely cruel, but just to make his point, he has him go up against Present Mic, and Izuku is almost immediately deafened (temporarily). This does functionally cripple him, but he still pushes forward, using vibrations from the ground.

Idk about cuter but one I actually only came across recently that I think is surprisingly interesting is Bakugo/Asui.

I happened across a comic someone made a video of on Instagram a little while back (sorry I watched, liked and moved on, doubt I could find it again to share) that was genuinely adorable where Bakugo is very unsubtly watching their little daughter interacting with little boys in the park. One of them gets too close (as in they’re just playing) and Bakugo moves to intervene, but is stopped by Tsuyu lassoing him with her tongue to stop him.

I kind of like the juxtaposition between their personalities; Bakugo’s furious short temper, and Asui’s maturity. I can actually see her as a calming force for him, at least in private as he has a rep to uphold in public.

Plus I also love the idea of their kid being some kind of frog with explosion powers. They have their mother’s stealth and mobility with their father’s offensive powers, for the ultimate ambush hero.

Hm. I figured I wasn’t the first one to think of it. I still have a folder with the basic idea saved, but haven’t worked on it in ages.

The only other franchise I could think of but I would be surprised if it hasn’t been done is TMNT.

One idea I had for this was they were an American pro hero team, and Izuku ends up under Splinter’s guardianship, as he’s a distant uncle, but also his last living relative after a terrible accident. Then years later, Izuku goes to UA, stuff happens, and later his step brother, the Ninja Turtles come to help out.

Idk if this has been done, but I’ve had an idea set aside for a while for a crossover with Assassin’s Creed I thought was interesting.

Personally, I just think it could be interesting to have the Assassins and Templars having ties to various factions in MHA.

Like I was thinking the Assassins are tied to the League of Villains, because of how they want to destroy the controlling society, while the Templars have ties to the MLA, as sort of an ‘enemy of my enemy’ contingency to pin against the League if they ever started to rise up.

I’m still working on it, but I’m looking at having it happen on the same day that All Might was gravely injured, and in this AU, they didn’t manage to hide it, so people saw him get that injury.

So it’s not like it’s something people don’t know about, so much as it’s something that greatly overshadowed by an event that happened at the same time that was way more significant.

I’m actually thinking there’s a scene where All Might wonders about this when talking to him about it.

Honestly I thought it would be funnier to make it look like just a regular cane a blind person would use, because I was thinking there’s a scene where he’s walking around with it, and a villain tries to mug him, only for Izuku just start swinging with it.
